Early Music Ensemble

 

The Artistocrats early music group is a new and fresh formation in the Hungarian early music life. The members are selected from the best Hungarian early musicians. The speciality of their concert is that the audience can enjoy not only the perfectly balanced accompanied chamber music, but also the solistic quality of our top musicians. The repertoire of the Artistocrats includes of not just high Baroque pieces, but also music from the 16-17th century performed in a free and improvisative style.

The Artistocrats early music group aspire for: free and stylistic improvisation, freedom in musical expression; showing sparkling solistic colours in the frame of well-balanced chamber music; performing early music pieces from the Western European repertoire and also to research and perform hidden gems of the Middle-European early music. With the Artistocrats concerts the audience can enjoy a highly professional authentic concert performed in a passionate, fresh and exciting way.
